You can book an appointment by calling one of the consulting locations directly. Appointments can also be made online using the appointment booking links provided on our website's appointment section (Link).

A referral letter from your family doctor/GP or another specialist is helpful but not required. You are welcome to book an appointment without a referral.

Yes. In some situations, Dr Melanie offers Telehealth consultations when appropriate. This option may be suitable if you are unable to attend an in-person appointment due to practical or travel difficulties.

Please bring:
  • Any imaging results (X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans)
  • Reports from previous tests or investigations
  • Relevant medical records
  • A referral letter, if you have one
Having this information helps ensure a thorough and efficient consultation.

Not all patients require surgery. Dr Melanie will carefully assess your condition and discuss the best surgical treatment options with you. This decision is based on factors such as the type and severity of your injury or condition. If surgery is not required, appropriate non-surgical orthopaedic treatments will be recommended.

Standard consultation fees apply for initial and follow-up appointments. If surgery or another procedure is recommended, an estimated cost can be provided by the hospital or clinic coordinators. Costs may vary depending on the type of procedure and the hospital involved.

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact the hospital or clinic where your appointment is booked. Their staff will assist you with any changes.

Yes. Dr Melanie provides care for overseas patients and international visitors. We recommend contacting the practice in advance to discuss suitability, availability, and any specific requirements when booking an appointment.
